Victor Infante & Lea C. Deschenes

Victor Infante

Victor D. Infante co-founded the late "Near-Infamous Poetry on Thursdays" at the Java Hut in Huntington Beach and the Big Damn Poetry Slam, and was one of the founders of the five penny poets series. He's coached and competed on a handful of slam teams, published a few things (Including poems in "So Luminous the Wildflowers," "Spillway," "Incidental Buildings & Accidental Beauty" and "Poetry Slam: the Competitive Art of Performance Poetry") and is currently trying to finish a novel and launch a nationally distributed magazine covering live poetry events. But what he's REALLY famous for is his profound love of "the Family Circus."
