Sally Bittner Bonn, originally from Rochester,
New York, has been nurturing her poetic voice in San Diego for the last five
years. The concrete details: Sally has a BFA in theatre from Syracuse
Univerrsity, she has been involved in slam poetry at the national level, she is
part of an artists' collective that puts on shows to benefit the community and
she has just completed her second chapbook "Walking Woman." Sally likes to make
things with her hands. She finds faith in the trees, honesty in the ocean,
perseverance in the desert. She misses the cyclical nature of the seasons.

John Dutterer grew up in a remote town northwest
of Baltimore, MD. A high school creative writing class provided his introduction
to writing poetry. (Topic of his first poem: the Apocalypse.) Over the following
thirteen years he has written several hundred poems, two novellas, and a volume
of short stories. John divides his time with playing guitar, painting, and
building useless objects out of wood and metal. |
