![]() Larry Colker spent his formative years in
Huntington, WV. Following studies in humanities, Romance languages and
literatures, psychology, early childhood education, and psycholinguistics,
his first career was teaching, from preschool through university levels.
For the last 18 years he has worked as a technical editor and writer. His
poems have appeared or are forthcoming in RATTLE, Spillway, ONTHEBUS,
Solo, Pearl, Cider Press Review, Blue Satellite and elsewhere in print, on
the Web at PoetrySuperhighway.com and in the online journal King Log, and
in anthologies from Tebot Bach and from the Valley Contemporary Poets. His
collection What the Lizard Knows: New and Selected Poems was published in
2003. Larry co-hosts the weekly Redondo Poets reading with Jim Doane at
Coffee Cartel in Redondo Beach, CA. He currently resides in San Pedro, CA. |
