Modified slam rules; 3 minutes or less, with a poem of your own construction (or not, but it's fun when ya did write it) on a holiday theme. Any holiday is fine. (I suggest Groundhog Day.)  Judges will judge based upon performance, appropriateness of material, whether or not they like holidays, etc. (Including, but not limited to how drunk the judges are at that point, which shouldn't be much as the Ugly Mug doesn't serve alcohol)

There will be some fun (and possibly lucrative) prizes and fun to be had all around.  At least, there better be.
