The Basics:

Two Idiots Peddling Poetry is a weekly reading held at the Ugly Mug Caffé in Orange, California on Wednesdays at 8 pm. The reading generally has one or two featured poets reading for 20-30 minutes each, plus an open mic.

The rules for the reading are as follows:

1. The rule of inverse proportions: Open readers get 3 poems or 5 minutes, whichever comes first OR 5 poems or 3 minutes, whichever comes first.

2. Explore your Idiocy ('cause we do): Have fun! Take risks! Don't worry about what other people will think! Be respectful (but preferable irreverent)!

3. Don't blame the Ugly Mug, we're the Idiots running the reading: Respect the venue, spend money, show your gratitude for the space being made available.
